Our room was at the budget end of the spectrum, but it was perfect for our needs. We were never in it during the day: in-room USB chargers, Bluetooth music player and free wifi. The TV was there but never used it. The hotel is so fresh, and the staff is so polite.
The pool and beach were beautiful as well. Juan, the pool boy, was excellent with his how to hire a driver in cozumel suggestions and tips. He kept checking and refilling my water while always putting the umbrella up and down when it would start raining. The staff at the pool bar were excellent as well. The drinks were beautiful, and they didn’t skimp on the alcohol. 🙂
The staff at the front were so kind and accommodating. I had forgotten my travel documents for my cruise. Therefore they went ahead and printed them off for me with no hesitation. On our last day, we weren’t supposed to get to our port for our cruise until 1:30, therefore they gave us a late check out to accommodate us.
Wow, what a beautiful and spectacular experience we had at the COMO. I am already planning my next trip back here. If you want a beautiful and fantastic experience, with 5-star service, then this is the place for you. From the rooms to the pool to the beach, everything was spectacular.
The concierge (his name escapes me) was accommodating with recommendations. We had breakfast at Orange Blossom, watched the sunset at The 1 Hotel next door from their roof bar, had a beer at the Abbey and visited Wynwood (you have to go here, great food, street art, craft breweries, etc.).
Some FYI’S – like many places in Miami they charge a daily ‘resort fee’ for wifi and towels. Also, the property next door (The Riviera) is under significant reconstruction so it can be noisy with the demolition of concrete balconies, etc. That didn’t bother us, though.
We paid for a late check-out (7 pm). We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. The hotel’s greatest asset is its staff; everyone greets you with a friendly hello.
