The EDITION is a fabulous resort. My wife and I stayed in January to get away from the cold and loved it. I loved it so much I started staying there when I was in Miami for work in September.
If you’re in Miami for business, there’s no reason to stay downtown when you can grab a coffee and take a 15-20min uber to wherever you need to go from Miami Beach, and if you’re staying on Miami Beach, you should do yourself the favor of staying at the EDITION.
On-site food options are excellent. Matador Room is fantastic–went with a group and everything we tried was fabulous. Don’t be bashful and reload on the spring pea guacamole. The bar makes excellent cocktails as well. For the nights I needed to work, the room service menu is top notch: the kale salad nails it.
Lastly, and of real importance to many business travelers– there’s a real Starbucks literally across the street. Not one of those fake in-hotel Starbucks. A real one that you can mobile-order from, grab your coffee, and go.
The pastry team at the Edition made the perfect Unicorn birthday cake for me. Amelia helped me with a yacht, the riviera maya fishing charters in Mexico, and catering recommendations. (shout out to Captain Matt from the Charter Agency and David from Yachts of Food!) The 48 feet yacht was a dream, and the catering was so excellent. We then partied at Edition’s Basement!
Everything was super perfect thanks to Amelia; she answered every question I had and made sure everything was going well.
I also want to shout out to Ray, the beach manager. George, the beach associate, Sebastian from the Basement, Adam from the ice skating rink and all the bellmen! You all have been amazing and beautiful on our stay!
